Rachael graduated from Hope College in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Her dream “field” was always adoption—but she spent the first part of her career as a geriatric social worker in a late stage dementia unit, and then took a little hiatus to stay home with her kids when they were little. Rachael is married with 5 children, 3 of which are biological, and 2 of which are (almost) adopted. In her free time, she likes to play games, drink coffee, go on hikes, write, and study scripture. She is filled with immense gratitude to be able to walk alongside families as they journey on their road toward adoption.
