The decision to place your child for adoption isn’t easy, and it takes time. However, it’s never too late to plan an adoption for your baby. If you are thinking about placing your baby for adoption when you’re in the hospital, or shortly after birth, it’s commonly referred to as a last-minute adoption. Adoption Associates is here to help in every situation – before or at delivery, or after you’ve delivered your baby. One of our experienced, supportive caseworkers is available 24/7 to talk with you about your options.

You have choices

Adoption planning choices are available at any point, even if you’re at the hospital delivering or your baby has already been born. It’s very common for birth mothers to make a decision to place their baby for adoption at the last-minute.

  • You may still choose a family for your baby.
  • You may still meet the family and get to know them, if that’s your desire.
  • Our approved waiting families are prepared and ready to drop everything at a moment’s notice.
  • Open adoption, closed adoption, or something in between is possible – whatever you’re comfortable with.
  • Your caseworker will be there to help you through every step of the process.

It can be so overwhelming when you’re thinking about giving up your baby for adoption, especially if it’s a last-minute adoption. But, it’s never too late – Adoption Associates will help you to make the process as smooth as possible.
