Many pregnant women and birth parents we work with are interested in developing a relationship with the family they select to adopt their infant or toddler. You might decide you are comfortable with maintaining casual contact by receiving pictures and information from adoptive parents on a regular basis. Or, you might desire a closer relationship where you are able to visit occasionally with your child. Or, you may decide that it’s better in your situation not to have continued contact. Adoption Associates supports all types of adoption (open adoption, semi-open adoption and closed adoption). We carefully work with pregnant women, birth parents and adoptive families to identify what is important to them.
