Heritage Camp is for internationally and trans-ethnically adopted children and their siblings. It celebrates the culture they come from through fun activities. Founded over 30 years ago, Families for International Children (FFIC) has over 500 member families representing more than 31 countries from around the world. They are a non-profit support group for families who have adopted internationally or trans-ethnically. The majority of FFIC families reside in Michigan, but they have members scattered all over the United States and the world. Their main support activity is Heritage Camp, which is run completely by volunteers.
Heritage Camp 2020 is scheduled for June 16-19, 2020, from 9am-2pm each day. It will be in a new location this year:
Kelloggsville High School
4787 Division Avenue
Wyoming, MI 49548
If your child is attending Heritage Camp or if you just want to get involved, volunteers are always needed.
