Adoption Associates, Inc. is looking for a part-time Adoption Caseworker to work out of our Farmington Hills, Michigan location. An employee in this position is able to work from home, but Michigan residence is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with prospective adoptive families to complete home studies, post placement reports, and other associated child placement tasks.
- Occasional community outreach and marketing.

LOCATION/TRAVEL
- An employee will travel to meet with clients in the Eastern Michigan area, and will also meet with clients in our Farmington Hills office.
- Occasional travel within the Eastern Michigan area to perform community outreach and marketing.

REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related Behavioral Science field.
- Must be flexible in scheduling appointments with adoptive families.
- Must be compassionate and caring.
- Must have excellent report writing and organizational skills.
- Must have good computer skills and a good working knowledge of common software applications including Google Docs.

EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the social work/child welfare/behavioral sciences field is required.
- Previous experience working in the adoption field is preferred, but not required.
