Rachael is an adoptive family caseworker who joined AAI’s staff in August of 2022. She earned her BSW at Hope College and has had professional experience in geriatric social work and in child welfare. Rachael is married and has five children– three biologically and two through adoption. Rachael enjoys studying scripture, writing, drinking coffee, traveling, going to the beach, hiking, and watching her kids do what they love to do– violin, theater, baseball, football, wrestling– to name a few. Rachael says that she feels like her job is actually a hobby and has deep gratitude for the privilege to work alongside families as they journey on their road toward adoption.
