Since 1990, Adoption Associates has been serving expectant parents, adoptive parents, and children of all ages. We’re proud to have placed over 5,000 children into adoptive homes!

Bulgaria Accepting Applications Children range in age from 12 months to 15 years; most children have Roma ethnic heritage; it is possible to adopt sibling groups; children with special needs are most often placed through this program     Married, heterosexual couples or single heterosexual females;
must be 25 to 55 years old and at least 15 years older than the child to be adopted
18 to 24 months on average Two trips, each lasting seven to ten days, with approximately three to four months between trips
China Accepting Applications Children range in age from eight months to 15 years; most children have identified special needs

Married, heterosexual couples or single heterosexual females; must be married at least two years (five years if second marriage), no more than two divorces each

9 to 18 months on average One trip, lasting 12 to 15 days
Ethiopia Accepting applications on a case-by-case basis Children range in age from infant to 15 years; it is possible to adopt sibling groups, or two unrelated children

Married, heterosexual couples (must be married at least one year)

18 to 36 months on average Two trips, each lasting five to seven days; or one trip lasting up to three weeks may be possible
Nepal Accepting Applications Children range in age from two to 15 years of age; the adoption process is faster when adopting a child over age six Married, heterosexual couples or single heterosexual females; may not have more than two children currently in the home; must adopt a child of the opposite gender of child (or children) already in the home 18 to 24 months on average One trip, lasting 10 to 21 days
